Haiku Story
I'm learning how to write haiku poetry. Structure has never been a strong suit of mine, but I'm finding that it's helping me with my creativity. Here's something I just came up with.
Whenever I hear
My heart beating, I wonder
If it’s really yours.
Because I believe
That although we are apart
Our hearts beat in time
I still feel your hand
Pressed against my warm sternum
Finding life in me.
